How often do people normally have coaching sessions?

Many people prefer to work with one session per month. This seems to be the right amount of time to have a session, work through action steps, reflect on the actions, and be ready for the next session.

However, the best timeline is the one that works for you. Some people like to set a firm schedule of fortnightly or monthly sessions up front. Some like to wait until each session to schedule the next one depending on how they are progressing and what their current schedule looks like. It’s also not uncommon to come upon lengthy breaks like family holidays, Christmas time, or unplanned events (like a pandemic!). As with everything in growth coaching, it’s all up to YOU!

What if I book a session and then I can't make it?

I am relatively flexible. Obviously I can’t guarantee I’ll get you in again right away, but I will do my best to accomodate your new schedule. I ask for the courtesy of 24hrs notice, but I also understand that sometimes life (sick kids, accidents, etc) do happen at short or no notice. I do cancellations on a case by case basis. If you consistently miss sessions and it effects my ability to have a life, I will initiate a discussion about what we can do to make it work better for you to not miss your sessions.

Do you have a refund policy?

There is an agreement that I will ask you to sign before your first full session. As part of this contract you agree to do your part of the coaching process. I am happy to refund you in full or pro-rata if there are legitimate circumstances and you need to cancel your entire package or part thereof. Obviously I’d prefer for you to follow through and achieve your goal, but I understand that that’s not always possible. If it’s simply a case of ‘I started the sessions and now I can’t bothered following through,’ then there will be no refund case. In most refund cases I will ask for some kind of ‘proof’ like a medical certificate or statutory declaration. This is simply to secure my own livelihood from being taken advantage of and I’m sure you can appreciate that we all need to make a living to put food on our tables. I am also happy to grant deferrals instead of refunds. Deferrals will be valid up to one year from the most recent coaching session taken.

What if I book 6 sessions and achieve my goal in 4?

That’s easy! We just work on a new goal and get the process started again. You might choose a short term goal that you think you can achieve with fewer coaching sessions, or you might add on another package. This is rare though. Most people use all of their sessions. Part of planning out the initial goal is setting your timeline and spacing out the coaching sessions throughout to make sure you get the most out of being coached toward your goal.

What payment methods do you accept?

All payments must clear before the first session booking date. Larger packages can be split into two payments; one before the first session and one before the midway date.
